Good luck! Hope you have pips soon! It's so exciting after eggs go into lockdown. My son is hoping for a pretty serama roo for fair. So fingers are crossed that we will get one. My anxiety is a little higher this time around after reading how difficult it can be to hatch them, and they were shipped so that makes it harder but it looks like only 2 have saddle air cells, and only one of those is pretty bad, the other seemed to have corrected itself over time.A day early won't hurt. Best to get things right anyway! Good luck, I'm in lock down, day 20. Still no pips. So, since it's day 20, I took a couple out and candled..they still have a good day left before even a pip should happen. Maybe tomorrow...good luck again.![]()

Since this is my first hatch (and first hatch along) please excuse a silly question:
I thought lock down meant leave them alone. Is it just a phrase? Can we open the bator the last three days without harmful effects?
