Tonight it is time to candle and lock down incubator #1.. Now if everyone would hurry up and go to bed so I can turn the lights off and candle!!

Mine goes into lock down tomorrow. Should I candle "one last time" before doing that?

so far 13 have hatched!

Thanks to those who encouraged me when my paper towels wicked water and humidity shot up. everything turned out fine!

I have 1 more egg that is pipped (separate hatcher), and it looks like 2 that haven't pipped yet may not hatch at all. 14 total for today.

Yesterdays hatch- 4 isabelle leghorns, 5 Silverudd Blue's, 2 Dark Brown Leghorns

They are such beautiful colors!

Day 14 update for 7guinea eggs. Candled today and all looking good. 14 days to go. Seems like forever. I'll leave them alone now until lockdown.

I think someone is shipping me Guinea eggs tomorrow.

Waiting for my NN eggs to pip whole trying not to feel lousy-stupid flu bugs and stupid useless flu shots.

Lucky the NN is cuddling under my robe on my shoulder to make me feel better, though.
