Update.....I went out to check on them and his crop is much fuller now. I think that's good.

So glad to hear that it resolved itself!
I have a similar problem where my Comet has had a bloated crop for the past few days. It feels like there is air in there. I have massaged it a few times, gave her yogurt with some added probiotics, also some bread with olive oil (though she ignored this), and am out of ideas.
The crop is definitely bloated in the morning, and grows as she eats and drinks throughout the day. Her breathing is a little labored when she lays down, but if I weren't aware of the problem, she appears to be otherwise fine and full of energy.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Hi everyone.
There has been no change yet in her crop - it's still squishy and swollen in the morning. I have given yogurt with probiotics a few times, added grit to the food area, and added ACV to the water (1T/gal) and that seems to be going fine. She is eating, drinking, pooping and laying eggs, and she runs around like normal - she just looks like Dolly Parton. Which isn't good, even for Dolly.
Can someone describe the proper procedure for massaging a crop upside down? I'd like to try it again because the rest of my efforts don't seem to be working.
Thank you,
~Kristen
