St. Patty's Day Green Egg Hatchalong, Set 2/25

Puts some under her and tell hubby she stole a nest away and you couldn't find it.

I wish that would work. It's ok though, I've got 2 weeks to convince him. I think I just need to find someone in my area that would want to buy a few chicks and he'll be on board.

I always sell extra chicks through the farm and garden section on Craigslist, so you might try that. I usually get more emails than I can even respond to. Lots of folks would rather get their chicks locally than to have to have them shipped, so there's usually a big demand.

Well folks, things have changed at our house. My oldest daughter (26) has moved back home and has to move her stuff into the room that I normally use for incubating and brooding, so I'm not going to be able to participate in this hatch. Best of luck and good hatching vibes to everyone!!

Awww! Bummer to loose you. Hope all is well with your daughter.

Well, I did it, I started saving eggs. I also told my husband and he seemed ok with the whole hatching thing. I think I'm going to order an ecoglow brooder for when the chicks are in the house.

Now I just need to figure out where I can brood them after I move them out of the house. And, the new coop needs to be finished soon.
