Me and my friend ,stood back to back, so we had veiw 360 degree.. Remember if you can see the eyes the head is open to a shot, even in heavy brush. Most will try to stay in cover.

We used a mouth call, but you can use a taped call.

Not every fox has chicken breath. Most will not come near your chickens if they know there are humans around. It is the ones that loose fear of us that get our birds. Shooting the fox will rid you of the predator. Will another take it's place? Maybe maybe not.

Show no mercy! The only good fox is a dead one. I think the same of every other predator that has a taste for poultry or my garden!
I wish I could give advise but I couldn't hold a candle to some of these fellas that already posted! I'm taking notes!

If you're using a .22 you’d be surprised what you see at night with a reasonably priced, ($15.00 to $30.00) .22 scope. Eyes will show in a light like glowing embers. Just put the cross hairs in-between the two dots.

Taping a flashlight to the for-end of the of the rile males it a point and shoot what you see in the scope.
