Starting a Fodder adventure

Yes I like to give them different ones to get the protein up it works pretty good the sunflower seeds are a little slower but they are fine in 6 or 7 days. Anything past 7 days and I start having mold problems.

good to know, im still in planning and learning phase. figured id spend minimum money and do them in jars to learn from experience what isn't in writing so to speak

How many chickens are you going to give fodder to? I think the way you are doing it is much cleaner you probably won’t have the mold problem.

i only have 13 chickens at the moment but of course that will change every year lol.

Yes the number of chickens seem to creep up on you my 75 doesn’t count the 18 chicks that are 2 1/2 months old.

Thank you i think they are looking good too i like doing the photos everyday and being able to look at the changes. i won't have be taking the photos for another 5 hours but XP1 definitely is getting a green to it
