They do have a bit of a crunch inside, a little like a butterfinger. The difference is an actual butterfinger has length wise flaky/crunchy layers inside. These are consistent inside, but have a slight crunchy texture. He gave one to me to try, I never in life would have guessed what they were made out of. And absolutely no cooking, just melting.

Definitely worth a try, I'll probably make them at some point also.

Well now that I'll have extra candy corn, I will certainly have to make those butterfinger things. i make a bunch of cookies at christmas for gifts, so if they are that good, i can make them for gifts too. The oreos are mine all mine. Kids can have the pop tarts.

hooray, isbar eggs from Mary arrived today (actually got to the post office yesterday, & they left a notice for me to come pick them up, which i of course received after the PO was already closed) -- thank you Mary! all seven are in perfect shape & are now resting, hoping my box of marans eggs (from Texas) arrive tomorrow to join them!
