I agree. I'm ready for ONE, possibly two broodies. (not at the same time)

i have one who's ACTING broody, but i'm not sure she's actually stopped laying eggs -- so keeping an eye on her...

Glad to hear about all the fun hatches! The only thing reining me in is the thigh-deep snow and sub-zero temps. NO more chicks in the house. Period. (Unless I find some nice Delawares. Or my SFH's finally start laying.)

Remember the Easter hatch along set date for chicks isn't until March 29 (another month) with a hatch date of April 19th. You'll be fine, the snow will be gone by then.

Made it home from driving in torrential rain to my doctor's appointment. Yikes. I made a quick dinner of Mussels in White Wine Sauce after taking a short nap with Tucker.

I set 24, 4 were clears and one was a blood ring.

The others are hatching so well it is amazing! Good job on those guys!
