I had 2 walk by me today. no more than 15 feet awayit's been nice to have a day to dry out, after another rainstorm -- merged two pens' worth of chickens with minimal fuss, moved the 4-week-old chicks outside to their own pen, and started 8 eggs under my yes-she's-broody.
and non-chicken-related, but a pretty scene outside my desk window this afternoon:
as much as the deer annoy me by eating almost everything i try to plant, they ARE awfully sweet sometimes...
