Here in southeastern NY we're expecting a blizzard starting tomorrow evening. Supposed to be up to 3 feet of snow on Tuesday with high winds. And my DH just broke our snow blower yesterday when he ran over a door mat.

I heard about that on the news, wow! And a major bummer that your snowblower is broken.

Pretty eggs!

I SO need to start doing this- going to my first show Feb 7. Only showing 7 birds. This time is totally about the learning experience, and working on exposure for Cream Legbars! I'm taking a trio of those, a pair of Black Copper Marans, and a pair of Spitzhaubens.

I'm showing 7 as well - 4 Barnvelders and 3 Welsummers. It's my first show, so I'm looking to learn a lot from the judges.

Have the Cream Legbars been accepted yet?

Good morning. I crawled out from under my rock to feed the animals this morning. I finally got this from Chica! She only made me wait almost two laying seasons! I'm pretty excited that both girls are laying. Michael plans to mow both pastures soon so maybe some fresh cut grass will cause the boys to start nest building.



Back to my bed now. Sorry I haven't responded to everyone but I do read several times a day. Typing on the iPad sucks.

You can wow your lawn too by turning on Spell Check Auto Correction. You will also get the word dirt when you type the word stir into a recipe on your blog too! It's a bonus. Your lovely readers will leave comments asking if you really meant dirt.
