Yeah right, with about 15,000 or so bees in the hive?

I'm just proud of myself for finding the queen.

Next time I get in the hive, I'll have to get some pictures inside. It's hard to hold the frames and take a picture with your other hand. Mary, want to be my photographer?

You don't. I know there is 10,000 bees in a 3lb package. (3,333 per lb plus a queen) And there are a lot more bees than that in my hive. So, it's more of an educated guess.

I am making Easter bread today with unboiled, dyed eggs. I used three of my white Icelandic eggs and three of Kellys' pretty brown eggs. One brown egg I left plain, one I dyed teal and the other dark coral. The orange and mint green eggs are Icelandic whites.The dough is rising now. I can't wait to see how it comes out!
