Lovely Boys!

Well, here is my new front porch, formerly covered with a nice she of taupe to complement the house! You can see the color in the corner. That is all that is left of it. Makes a nice first impression huh? I can see why the realtor/jerk slapped some paint on it!

Good grief, she didn't think you would ever notice ????

Robhuncor, THAT is the kind of photo(enlarged) that shows him off best. His coloring is fascinating, like someone painted him. Is he good with the hens & people?

Ruffles is adorable - her name makes me think of that old tag line for potato chips "Ruffles have ridges." Okay so everything reminds me of food. Need I say if your rooster was brown & white I would have thought of fudge swirl ice cream.

Thank you - he is a sweetheart so far, but he's only just getting to breeding age. The main guy is definitely in charge,( they are the same age). and as soon as there gets to be a problem between them (I'm sure there will be) I will separate them - I don't want my sweet boy beaten up! They are not yet moved in with the older girls.

Diva, another sister, named Frilly, looks like a butterscotch sundae - got to get a picture.

Let's hope this is the LAST unpleasant surprise!

Mary, I hope you house doesn't have a basement. Just sayin' don't go down there !

Luckily, no basement. This was huge surprise. I never saw it coming. I just thought a quick rinse with the hose would keep us from tracking so much drywall dust and stuff through the house.

Taking a quick break to check in! Wow, Dar, you got'er done my friend!

I decided to hose down the front steps and patio from all the construction debris and dust. Just as I finished I noticed that the paint had started to bubble up. The stupid b*tch we bought this house from used latex paint to cover up the yucky porch and steps! What a piece of work she is. All done to deceive [potential buyers. She is a realtor for crying out loud!I may file a failure to disclose lawsuit against her after all!

Michael is out there pressure washing the rest of the paint off, then I will have to wire brush it and paint again with porch paint!
Oh boy. At least you found out now before it really starts raining.

Ruffle & Augie

Ruffle - a little sweetheart
You can really see the Hamburg in him.
