We've spent the last few days working feverishly on a Pinewood Derby Car. He was super pleased with how it turned out! Race was last night. He got to race 3 heats, he took 2nd, 1st, and 3rd respectively although the last one was miliseconds away from being 2nd.

If you don't know the newer kid crazes- this is a Creeper from the Minecraft game.

Awesome. Never heard of Pinewood Derby Cars, just the little ones the kids ride in. I have heard of Minecraft though and that is the extent of it. Like the camo!

Cool derby car! My boys raced every year in cub scouts. They never won in the pinewood derby, but we swept the rain gutter regatta every year.

I've heard of the Pinewood Derby through BYC every year. I think it's the best kind of racing, car may be damaged but not the operator.
