I think I saw someone making puffy oven pancakes on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. It was like a cross between a soufflé and a pancake.

aha, that probably means if you keep peeking in the oven and slamming the door, you will have a soufflé pancake that fell badly. I think I'll stick to brownies.

I am excited. I finally finished the French chairs and table I have been working on since the middle of December. I listed them online and five minutes later an artist from San Francisco bought them for her farmhouse! yeah! I like how they turned out. Hundreds of nailheads later...

What a good job on the chairs!

Diva yes puffy oven pancakes puff up in the oven, but with or without slamming the door they fall in the center a lot when you take them out. They are mostly eggs, a little milk and flour, and a pinch of salt and vanilla. Super easy and a quick way for us to polish off 18 eggs (it takes 3 batches to feed my family). ROFL. Haha well I'm getting about 60 eggs a day right now. Young layers, early spring, great weather, lights all winter. Got to do SOMETHING with the ones I can't set or sell! And my kids love this so it's a weekly meal around here!
