I moved 3 yards of dirt today. How come it doesn't look like much when the dump truck drops it off, but when you have to move it, it's suddenly a lot?

Got my 2 new garden boxes filled, plus pulled all the weeds in the other boxes and top dressed with the rest of the dirt. My asparagus is planted too.

More work was completed on our addition. The doorway was cut and the fourth wall was put up (more to do here)

Window and outside doorways trim was put up

I bet you are getting excited to see the progress! Almost all finished!

Mike, the addition is looking great! The main living area of my house is green, more blue in it than yours, and I love it.

I tried to get the cardinals at the feeder but they flew into the hazelnut bushes when I came out with the camera......

I can hardly wait to get to gardening! We need to haul in dirt, too.

I'm actually jealous, but I'll get over it the first day of moving mulch and about the second week of pulling weeds.

I cleaned out the pens and got the brooder together.

What are the small acorn sized egg? Those are really small.

We can't wait until its done. Its taken a long time, but its been fun. We were pretty much making it up step by step. At least now, we are where I can actually help. I can't do construction, but I like the finishing work. Of course it helps to have the professionals here (they're neighbors/friends so they don't mind me helping), otherwise I would get caught up and keep redoing something until it was "perfect".

nope just scrub jays and stellar jays. stellar jays are pretty though. Deep blue with a black crested head
