Stella's Social Club

I know Diva! We have an erosion problem. We have put rocks and gravel and it just washes away and they pull the gravel out. The gap is zero in some places and 8 inches in another. DH bought poultry netting to try to overlay the bottom of the fence and bury it into the ground a bit. Neither of us are good diggers because of back and breathing problems. We are going to try to get it worked out tomorrow.
If you plant chunks of liriope in those wash places, it will stop it. It will come up through the wire, and make a mat that will hold everything in place. My birds don't eat it, but they have lots of grass.

I'll go with you Kelly. Jeeze what a day. Farrier was here for the donkeys this morning. Turns out they are both on the brink of founder so we have to contain them from the rich pasture grass. Will work on that tomorrow. We will have to cordon off an a small area for them until the grass dies. They are going to hate it.

Then I had a hair appointment midmorning ( color and cut) and didn't get home until a couple of hours ago. Then had to run right back out for a nail appointment. My sister arrives tomorrow then it's pedal to the medal until the anniversary party on Saturday. My sister leaves on Sunday and by Monday I will be crashed out all day!

Liriope needs moisture and afternoon shade out here in California. Hypericum will work well out here
