Read it and weep friends. Here are my beef tenderloins all dressed up and ready for the oven! Salted and seared on all sides, brushed with whole grain mustard, rubbed with fresh herbs and pepper, shallots and Meyer lemons added to the pan, just resting until it reaches room temperature, then it's going in the oven. Thanks Molly and Chris!

Kelly get out there in the snow. I want a picture of the snow on the roof too!

We had a near dinner catastrophe here. My new Jennair oven went out! I was cooking the tenderloins low and slow and I decided to check them. They were room temperature! The oven went in and out all day and eventually the food got cooked but the rolls were destroyed from rising/falling, rising/falling over and over again. I should have known there was a problem with the oven when it took 4.5 hours to bake a cheesecake last night and and hour and a half for an apple pie this morning. The beef tenderloin was super good, or "amazing" as my sister said. Kind of a stressful day from some family dynamic issues but we survived it. Hope everyone else had a great day.

Back to business as usual tomorrow.

I am so sorry that the oven went out! but happy that you were able to get the roast cooked.

It is sad when something as nice as a Jennair has problems. Hopefully the warranty service will a good experience.

My new GE Convection Gas worked like a dream for me and dinner was very good. I am taking a break between cleaning and coffee to post here.

ugh. Just came back from the new place. They have to do the roof cert. tomorrow.

Was snowing very heavily. Not sticking as of when I left but as I was going back down the hill to my place the snow started following me. Here it is mostly slushy rain but at 37 degrees it can change at anytime. Wonder if I can go on the roof with a broom tomorrow lol

Jason, I just talked to my son in Cedar Grove (3,400'), he has an inch of snow and it's snowing heavily. He said he had snow earlier today, then it changed to rain and all melted. Hopefully it will rain off tonight, he doesn't have 4WD
