I forgot that was so close, can't wait to see pics!

Hope 2013 is kind to all of us. Kathy, I am so excited about the emu babies. Do you pick them up, or have the shipped?

Gad zooks, this color is awful on the eyes, make it stop....

It's my day off so I suppose I will be CLEANING COOPS!!!!

That and go to Sears for an eye exam and to pick out some frames. I SO hope that they will have something similar to what I already had as I have grown used to them.

We are supposed to get a cold NW/Cali storm coming in tomorrow and I've also got to get some Christmas lights out on all of the tomatoes in my garden as the forecast has it going down to below 30. I hate "global" WARMING.
I've also got to pull out all of the Sep. corn stalks and prep the ground to plant some peas and beans.

They are saying we are going to have the effects of an El Niño this year which means LOTS of rain in February, March and April... so I've got to get the seed into the ground by about Jan. 20th.

We use zennioptical.com for my oldest son's glasses. My mother didn't like them for her glasses, as they didn't give her the right script (axis was wrong) but we have had success for my son's glasses for several years and they are cheap- I think we pay around $50 for the glasses including frames. I would always recommend that you get the glasses checked with your optometrist to make sure it is a correct prescription, however. I think they are imported from China or somewhere.
