Congrats Kathy on the emus. You still need fencing though - they will teach Fred to be a bad boy. I'm sure hen will love the company.

Happy Birthday to Mary and Ron!
Only a little more than 2 weeks til I get my 4 baby emus! I am so looking forward to that!![]()
It's my day off so I suppose I will be CLEANING COOPS!!!!
That and go to Sears for an eye exam and to pick out some frames. I SO hope that they will have something similar to what I already had as I have grown used to them.
We are supposed to get a cold NW/Cali storm coming in tomorrow and I've also got to get some Christmas lights out on all of the tomatoes in my garden as the forecast has it going down to below 30. I hate "global" WARMING.
I've also got to pull out all of the Sep. corn stalks and prep the ground to plant some peas and beans.
They are saying we are going to have the effects of an El Niño this year which means LOTS of rain in February, March and April... so I've got to get the seed into the ground by about Jan. 20th.
Hope 2013 is kind to all of us. Kathy, I am so excited about the emu babies. Do you pick them up, or have the shipped?
