Stella's Social Club

We're having a gorgeous day, today, after a night of pouring rain. The chicken coop roof held up and I am happy! I visited with the chickens and they sang their most melodic clucks for me.... When I have time, I will play a recording of Bach's Well tempered clavier for them again... the Richter recording on YouTube is divine.

Yes!

Cats however are not property...I had one stolen by the neighbors once. They hid him in a garage for a month. When we recovered him later, he had to go to the Vet for dehydration...People are weird

One of our cats adopts people. When we lived in downtown 2 different people thought they owned him. I saw him sitting in 2 windows. He was home every night however. I look after we moved to make sure there were no lost cat signs.

He is a charmer. And knows how to open windows and doors. That is how he is not an inside only cat. We have replaced 3 screens on the porch since we moved here in my effort convince him he was inside now. After he knocked the screen out of the closed bathroom window he won.

Well, it sure would have been nice if one of you would have let me know that my broody was due to hatch.

th
Beautiful!

Of those 60 Barred Rock chicks.... well, at least 3 - 5 of them are possibly Silver Laced Wyandottes (or crosses). Which is fine with me. Not a problem.

Emu kids were enjoying the weather and then I had to take them back inside. They sat in the sunshine streaming thru the window.
