Bone tired tonight. 8yo had his baptism at the church this morning, then I went grocery shopping, then my dad, FIL, MIL, hubby and I moved the two big coops (5x5.5 and 6x8), a 12x12 run (we built it to dismantle at the corners into four 12 foot panels) and one small coop (4x4) with it's 4x8 wire run. One 4x4 coop and the doghouse left at the old house. Tomorrow is supposed to be spectacular weather so maybe we can finish up tomorrow after church!? Have some cute pics from the baptism but they are on the camera still. Yeesh, not enough hours in the day. G'night!

I'm going to have to try that chicken Mary. Looks delicious. We had baked chicken, roasted butternut squash with apples and cinnamon, and couscous with spinach.

Rinda - you will sleep really well after all that! I bet it feels good to have the coops moved.

The posts about Brisket inspired me to cook one tonight. I was moving Cockerels from one place to another and stopped off at a local butcher shop and picked up a 5# brisket.

Did you make those deviled eggs Kathy? I think I'll make some as an appetizer for Thanksgiving. We are having between five and nine people but won't know until the last minute. What else is new? This year we invited Michael's family. Two of my sisters will be in town to have Thanksgiving with my parents. I'll miss being with them.

No, I did not make those. I just saw the picture and it made me think of chicks. LOL

My only son left in Iowa is coming down for Thanksgiving (with his son and wife). I have not had the heart to butcher my turkey, so I am shopping for one.
