The 2 dogs appear to be at least part pit bull. I abhor pit bulls. This town is FULL of them.






Kayson does not have his coveralls here, so we fixed him up anyway so he could go out in the snow. He is 3 now. He likes to help.... shovel snow.

I just checked our weather. One source says 19*, but the other says 16* with a real feel of -6*. Now, both forecasts are for elevations about 400 ft lower than we are, so usually, it's a bit colder at night than either say. It's been raining all day long and now, the flurries are starting.

I love it when the snow turns to rain!

We usually have get to 6000 ft. for that here though.

Kathy, that black and white one looks like it might have some bird dog in there, but yeah, that mama dog is at least part pitbull. Wonder where her puppies are? That is so sad, that they might have frozen to death.

I hate it when people throw out animals. Someone threw out 5 or 6 cats in the mtns. They eventually perished. They were very wild. In the main time they killed all the night soil nesting birds around there. No more whipperwills , the doves either. I loved those birds and their sounds. I hope they come in from somewhere else up there soon. They say you can not re'introduce them easily.
Other peoples animals cause havoc. Be careful around the dogs. You do not know what shots they have not had or what their temperament maybe.

Kathy doesn't know that isn't a shovel either. Gonna take a long time with that.

I've had my fill of snow - by the time I clear the mountain the snow plow pushes in front of my driveway, I'm too pooped to do anything else. No ice cream, no chocolate no anything to give me a good kick of energy, - tuna on wheat bread didn't help, nor meat sauce and spaghetti and baby peas.

I need to loose 7 lbs. that attached itself to me during pre-Xmas and New Years. By Mon & Tues. our highs are supposed to be below zero. This global "warming" thing is chilling my bones.
