Stella's Social Club

Chica looks like she is playing to the camera more than Louis. She sure is trying hard!

Rinda I have a nice CL cockerel coming along that is looking good color wise - your rooster is nice! What egg sizes are you seeing? I really need to take some pictures of my SFH's too.

Most of mine that are laying right now are brand new pullets so they are small. My two hens that are laying lay a good size egg, probably just under US large.

I got really lucky with my CL stock, had no idea what I was doing when I started but I know where I'm going now!

Love number 2!
X2!

Kathy I LOVE the denim jeans placemat with pocket - are their instructions for making one??? I don't sew but, know someone that does a great job.

I really need a pattern for an adult size bib(no joke) that can protect wearers from spaghetti sauce, blueberry & most importantly CHOCOLATE stains. I've tried pinning a towel on but then I can't get stains out of the that either.

I did not see a pattern for the placemat. It should be easy though..... just make a rectangle and add the pocket.

Look HERE for some bib ideas.

Oh my goodness! The chicken keeper side of me is screaming, "DON'T FEED THE TREE SHARKS!!!" SMH I'll bet those guys are a real nuisance for the locals.

Oh, disgusting! INFESTATION ALERT!

Reminds me of my kooky elderly neighbor who feeds all the wildlife and is still talking about the fox she thinks we killed about 7 years ago to anyone who will listen. She also believes that coyotes don't eat chickens. Yup, all the wildlife and my chickens are just skipping down the path holding hands like in an old Disney movie.

Speckled thats why we follow SSS. Long time experience with neighbors who wont contain their dogs. And of course they would never never harm anyone else's livestock. Our local game warden advises the same, saying if they bother your livestock they will also chase deer, eat fawns. I have gotten one coyote this past year, about 30' from the chicken pens.

I have a mineral block out for the deer, will probably add a protein block. Their tracks are all over the front yard. The deep snow this winter is a burden for them. I dont mind getting some through the winter the hunters harvest a LOT of them. We have two in the freezer. Not local. About 8 miles away.

Catching up from the stomach flu.....

Stella is still a troublemaker, I am surprised........not. Love the sewing room.

Beautiful flocks Rinda.

Love the quilts and I agree they would look lovely painted on the side of a coop. Sadly, I'm not talented in either sewing or art.
