Stella's Social Club

Yesterday I made an early Valentine's dinner. We had crusted beef tenderloin, grilled artichokes with roasted pepper aioli, duchess potatoes, and Mediterranean olive bread (from the store). This was Michael's plate. He likes medium rare. I kept the end cut for myself! Now I need to decide what I am going to make with the left overs. French dip sandwiches maybe.

The emu eggs are such a lovely color.

My DH loves artichokes. This pic would really make him hungry!

I never get tired of the beauty of new snow. Even when I am shortly to shovel it.

The trip was a little on the white-knuckle side, for no real reason, the ice was smooth as a billiard table. Just the thought of all that cold water... Took some pictures to post later.
 
Just talked to my new neighbor the other day. Asked him if I could put in a small chicken coop under my Grapefruit Tree.... he said 'Yes"... but I told him I have to have permission from his wife too! Developing...
