If chickens are "often" infected with Salmonella, why was that not found in the death study? Must be a slow news day.

Neem and other horticultural oils can be sprayed several times during the year. A good time to spray is early in the spring before flowering. It is probably best to not spray anything while trees are in flower, as chemicals of any kind can be hard on bees, once flowering is over they are unlikely to be exposed.

As if the salmonella hysteria isn't bad enough. Now everyone is going to think backyard chickens should be banned.
