She got Wusthof knives.  Best knives ever!

Yep, and I have the bloody stubs to prove it! :lau

I was hoping I would feel better today but so far that is not the case. So I am back in bed, trusty companion at my side. Looks like another day playing Candy Crush and watching Food TV. Yuck.

Well a few days ago I set about 5 duck eggs in the incubator thinking they were fertile. Today when I opened the incubator it smelled just nasty so I took and cracked open one of the eggs ROTTEN it was nasty. My Pekin drake might have to find a new home if we don't start getting fertile eggs. I had been candling the eggs and saw that none had developed veins so I figured they were infertile. First attempt at hatching was a bust.

One of our tall pines on the ridge behind the house fell yesterday. It caught on another tree branch on the way down. It is hanging precariously over the track at the Christian High School behind us. Michael went up and talked to the administration and they let the athletic director know about it. Nothing is scheduled on the track this weekend but it is open to the public. We have SIL coming today to bid on removing it. It's a vey tall tree. Well, it was.

It is hard to see but the tree fell backwards and the tip caught on a branch. Just beyond the trees is the edge of the track.
