Stella's Social Club

Lydia playing with Colby yesterday. He kept trying to eat her feather and she would giggle and giggle. He's going to his new home in 2 weeks. Yay for 1 dog down!

Cute. She really worked for that one.

She sure did. I rewarded her with a clean coop with fresh shavings. I also moved her and the baby from the nest box on the wall to a cardboard box on the floor. Mama freaked at first but she finally settled down with her chick.

Rinda, Colby is beautiful and big. Are you keeping any from that litter? I see two others, didn't you have a blue merle in the group too?

I'm hungry. So, I came to this thread to get some inspiration as to what I want to (cook) eat. I knew I would find food pictures here!

I am loving all the animal photos! Love the mama with one chick. sweet!

I just penned my Delawares and my New Hamps. I think I will hatch a few (maybe next month).

The darn Canada geese are back, of course. More and more each year. I think we are gonna have to do something about that . . . . soon! Well, there are a couple other geese out there with them, the past few days, also. A white one today. This one has been there for over 2 weeks. Walt told me it is a Greylag.

Here is the little white one (a "Snow goose"):

Too cute. She's going to be without her buddy in a couple of weeks.

Happy he is finding a good home though.

Geese scare me, mostly because of the mean ones at the park. But this goose is beautiful.

Nope I was hoping for a red tri to keep but we didn't get one this litter. The black tri in the background is the mom, Harper, and the red merle is another pup, Lucy. Yes I still have 4 left to sell from this litter, all merles.

She loves Colby because he is a "calm" puppy. I'm sad to see him go but he's going to a great home. She loves Harper, too- the mom- but not the dad Merlin because he tends to knock her over.
