Mary, you are not alone! I think the people like that are put here just to heckle us.

I have a family that had 3 boys next door . One had a live- in for awhile and left the older of her sons there. Then there were 4 20ish males. one died of drugs, The other three and two sons and live- ins are over there. Within 100 ft of my home where I have owned way over 20 yrs. What a mess. When they moved in we had to have the land surveyed and actually ended up putting in a fence before the father accepted that he could not build over on us. Just up to the line. The father and one son are gone now but the other 3 young men and their mother are still there.Oh and their girlfriends with babies too. I could accept that if they were not loud and provane with each other. I hate cursing and they know every word except any acceptable ones. Sometimes they get angry and start shooting an ak47 there too. One day something terrible is going to go down . Everyone but them know it. Drugs, guns, girlfriends and alcohol do not mix with wicked tempers to boot.

Yikes, I feel lucky!

The people seeing the house today came two hours early, walked in and practically walked right back out. Oh well. At least I can go make a mess in my own kitchen.

My realtor encourages me to be patient with the people we are trying to buy the house from. Makes no sense to me, If they won't perform at the first step of the transaction, what are the chances they will at the end? It's a short sale for crying out loud, sign off and move on!

No I mean it is time for them to sign off and move on! I haven't given up yet but if they drag their feet tomorrow then that's a whole other story.

We drove out to the potential new house today to see what it is like on a Sunday afternoon, noise wise. It was pretty quiet. Tucker got the neighbor's dog going, but eventually they both shut the hell up.

But, I saw a sign today that I was meant to buy this house. I was sitting on the patio while Michael roamed the chicken yard. I looked up at the wooden roof over the patio. On one end, the rafter had boards cut into the shape of ............wait for it.................wait for it...........

an "M", as in Mary, and Michael. I swear. It was done purposely because it would have been a lot easier not to do it that way. Psychic Mary thinks it's a good sign. Or, some boards have fallen off the patio roof rafters.
