I inspected my hives today and removed the empty super/queen excluder, and I found where all of my honey went. The bees packed it in their hive, which is fine, they will need it for winter. I only pulled a few frames to see eggs, so I know the queen is laying well in both hives. And pulled some of the outer frames to see how their stores look for winter. It's all looking good, and I'm still surprised at how high the population is in the main hive.
I'm so happy that everything looks good for going into winter. With some luck, I'll have 2 highly productive hives next year.![]()
