Spend the amount of time with the bird that you will ALWAYS be able to spend with it. Alot of people get birds and in the beggining spend alot of time with it. Then the novelty wares off and then you are not spending the same amount of time as you use to. Then the bird will start to develope behavior promblems. It will pluck it feathers out,become nasty, and just become a bad bird. It is also good advice to get it as a baby. They are more friendly that way.
