Step-to-Step Guide on How To Upload Pictures onto the BYC Forum:

Think RTF formatting is recognized by software and message informs user that `translation' is being executed. Switched to BBcode as Photobucket IMG link wouldn't work in RTF (straight copy/paste with no extra clicks). Still in BBcode: went to BYC album/retrieved full sized photo/Embed: (original size IM/email code). Copied that address and pasted into post above.

One of the great things about this platform is that there are multiple ways to accomplish the same task which will allow members to decide which way works best for them.

Nice pic! I could use a bonfire like that about now as we have a ton of snow outside.
I can translate what you did from "geekspeak"; sounds like you really know your stuff!

If you have the time, would you mind writing out some step-by-step BBCode instructions for the "average/non-techie" user and posting them in this thread?

That would be fantastic!

yes, reading thru the posts and also on that awesome instruction page in the comments. the copy and paste of the image itself has a bug and is not currently working correctly. they are working on fixing that. its just easier to copy and paste the image url or embed the url using the embed button if posting from your byc album. if from your hard drive just select the picture and it should load right up. havent had any problems today using those methods. the info you posted originally helped me fix mine up Ivan3

Love your pony. I spent one night at Backyard herds and the next day this horse shows up unexpectedly. I wonder if equine math is similar to chicken math. If it is I'm in real trouble.
