Just my rooster ( the guy in my Avatar )... He lives at my dad's.... And my dad's place is 22 acres of woods. So I am not really surprised he has them.

If he's getting the fleas from the woods you have to re-treat each time he gets them. Hopefully just spraying his coop and the area around the coop will help.

Thank you SO much! I will just have to make sure I keep him treated at the first sight of them. Especially in the spring and summer. But now I can get the proper treatment for him! Thank you and thank you everyone else for your help!

Good link! Those numbers are slightly different than mine, though not by much. My 1:19 or 0.5% directions say 6.7 ounces per gallon.

One can also buy it pre-mixed, but it's more expensive and won't go as far.

Boy I sure hope this gets rid of them. I'm going to head over there shortly and do a good scrub down of his coop and run and the surrounding area. And treat him. please let this work!

I've done a few this way (0.5%) and the 0.5% kills them instantly, then the majority just fall off. I have some pictures of the last one I treated, let me see if I can find them.

Yikes, that’s brutal! Glad you figured out how to get rid of them! How do you attach a group of photos with the spoiler button like that? Just manually type the spoiler code before and after the attachments?
