Still needing advice. Please read!

This is the longest and hardest part of hatching. This time tomorrow you will be so positive it needs help, resist that urge.

Ok. I quickly added a wet sponge. Hoping to raise the humidity. No movement yet.

Sponges help give more surface area for moisture to evaporate and humidity to rise.
If you chose to candle, do it quickly, fat end only to see if the gosling internally pipped.

I candled very quickly and smooth. I saw two small bumbs just inside the air cell (which had dipped significantly). No movement but i didn't hold it on there long enough to see. I put it back and closed the lid. Im going see what happens thru the night. Hopefully I will see the egg move tonight or tomorrow. Im not going to candle it again unless u tell me. My humidity is still 72% my temp dropped a little but it should be back to normal real soon. Now we just wait!!!!

Do you have vet wrap or duct tape? If so, wrap it around the bator seam where top lid meets bottom lid. Then maybe, it will be an obvious reminder to not open bator again! You are in lockdown mode now. Best of luck!!

I haven't seen movement since early this morning. I hope he is ok. :-( Is it normal for them to not move all day? temp 99. humidity 73%.
