Goose, how exciting!!!!!!!!! Now it is time to stare at the fat end of the egg for a crack! If it is peeping and rocking, it won't be long before it externally pips!

Goose, don't panic but you have a lot of waiting ahead yet. Once it externally pips there will be more resting. You will need to leave the incubator closed and resist the urge to "help".
By the way.... thinking very optimistically here..... if your little goose hatches, the little one will be very lonely. Do you have a buddy for him to brood with? T
Im so excited about the baby goose.. but a bit sad because we are going to have to take him right away to WildCare. They take in wild animals. I want to keep him but I can't because its illegal and the other HUGE reason is my dogs would eat the poor thing as a afternoon snack. So within 24 hours of him hatching I am gonna have to take him to WildCare. They have some baby geese. Not that young they said.. but this little one will be in a incubator for a little bit before it goes with the others. Im thinking that is the best solution. I can't keep him here. But I saved him. Thats what matters. Still waiting for him to break thru the shell! Im gonna take lots of pictures before I take him to his new home.
