That's so sad. I would never let someone take away my babies heat lamp. Sounds like a control issue.

I have the best husband in the world... I know I am so blessed with him. We've been married for almost 24 years and it's been tough but we've made it through financial and health issues because we had/have each other. He is my best friend and support.

I just want to offer

to all of you who can't say that and to say that I'm glad we all have BYC to 'unload' on and get support from. I think it helps to know that there are so many other people that have been there... done that and truly understand and care!

You are all deeply caring folks. I've had many of the thoughts and feelings you are expressing and know what directions to go in as far as working these things out.

I really didn't mean to raise such a fuss and concern (you can tell I'm a people-pleaser, huh?) I just wanted to know what the effects on the chicks might be...

I'll end with my responses for now; don't need to load up the internet with these issues.
