Here's what I posted on the newspaper comment section
"It should be obvious to any farmers, ranchers, horse lovers, or other animal owner that your pets, your childrens animals, or your own livestock are not safe in or around Tahlequah. Its one thing when theres a problem with a case involving ownership of stolen property that can sit in the property room of a police department, this is a living creature which is still in the hands of someone who has no real proof of ownership.
When the legal owner of this horse is standing there holding the registration papers, the lease agreement, and other proof of ownership and there is no protection for her under the supposed law, doesnt that make the rest of the residents of Tahlequah OK nervous?
The court fails to keep proper records, they lose or fail to take transcripts, then they dont even know what is going on? The sheriffs department has sure knowledge of the accused party and it truly fails to inspire confidence to put it mildly. This isnt embezzlement this is HORSE THEFT plain and simple!"
I'm sure we'll all be looking for some kind of follow-up on that article, or even a way to view comments about it! sheesh.
