Just sent a little letter to the e-mail thing in your paper ( yes , I know , I stupid with computers ) . I gave them my 2 cents , and then about another $100 . I'll see what I can get done up here . I know, i know, I haven't sent letters yet, I am SO sorry!!! It's been a rough month and I am getting to it tomorrow. The whole comment thing being blank threw me today and I didn't know whether to add my info or not, but I will tomorrow now that I'm not the only one not seeing comments posted! I am also going to be calling the DA and others. I can't type worth a flip, I get too emotional typing, but speaking, I'm much more professional and this is something that is beyond begging for an answer!

Still praying daily for you and Max girl!!

Don't give up!!

Alright girl....I sent a message to the paper in your state ( I guess a not so nice one ) and just got done with a letter to your attorney letting him know that he is NOT doing for you what he should be doing . I'll send that out tomorrow . I'm going to try to send a letter to my newspaper next ( not sure if I can do it ) but I might have some contacts that I can some info on . I wish your newspaper had a thing like ours does where it says " contact us " . Then we could all post into that and it would make a MAJOR impact . Maybe you could get a hold of a reporter and ask them if you could get maybe over 100 responses to it , then they would publish something else on it ? Just a thought , but I will try my best here ! Big hugs for you ....I know my horse Booger got me through a lot in my life...can't imagine not having him .

On that news article, if you click the Facebook button, it takes you to their FB post specifically on the article. Putting a comment there raises awareness on their page as well as on the FB pages of anybody who responds.

I don't see the comments, either, so if you have a Facebook account, leave one on their Facebook page.

Regarding the article, what was the hearing in which Trammel informed the court that the horse was with his grandson? How can they have a preliminary hearing yesterday if there has already been a hearing late last year? What was decided at the last hearing?

Here's what I posted on the newspaper comment section

"It should be obvious to any farmers, ranchers, horse lovers, or other animal owner that your pets, your children’s animals, or your own livestock are not safe in or around Tahlequah. It’s one thing when there’s a problem with a case involving ownership of stolen property that can sit in the property room of a police department, this is a living creature which is still in the hands of someone who has no real proof of ownership.

When the legal owner of this horse is standing there holding the registration papers, the lease agreement, and other proof of ownership and there is no protection for her under the supposed law, doesn’t that make the rest of the residents of Tahlequah OK nervous?

The court fails to keep proper records, they lose or fail to take transcripts, then they don’t even know what is going on? The sheriff’s department has sure knowledge of the accused party and it truly fails to inspire confidence to put it mildly. This isn’t embezzlement this is HORSE THEFT plain and simple!"

I'm sure we'll all be looking for some kind of follow-up on that article, or even a way to view comments about it! sheesh.
