Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

I just sent the following news story request to KFSM:

To: [email protected]

Hello -

I'm a member of a farm forum in which thousands of us have been following a case in Tahlequah since August 2009. A young woman leased her horse out to a guy who then moved with the horse and sold it to his great uncle who in turn gave the horse to his grandson with no intentions of taking the horse back.

I ask that you look into this case to see if something can be done to get this horse back with the rightful owner.

Here is a link to the BYC's forum that has been followed since Aug 09 with over 2200 posts: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=230271&p=1

Here is a link to the Tahlequah Daily Press that includes just a few of the hundreds of comments they have received, claiming folks are using fake names and the same IP address: http://tahlequahdailypress.com/local/x993484252/Embezzlement-case-involving-horse-drags-on

Here is a link to the Tahlequah Daily Press local news story from March 31, 2010: http://tahlequahdailypress.com/local/x993483092/Embezzlement-case-involving-horse-continues

Thank you for your help in this matter,

I also used my name and paid email addy.

They gave up. That's all there is to it. They pretty much said as much in their, "we don't have the manpower to go through all of these" comment.

It's not really their fault, I suppose. They're just not equipped for this sort of thing. Whenever I'm out with my four kiddos, I'm very aware of the fact that four kiddos can be very overwhelming and do my best to keep them from being so. We strong minded loud moutehd backyard farmers can be pretty overwhelming, too.

Here is what I sent:

<<Hello,

I have been following for some time now a case posted on a farm forum by a local Oklahoma woman; she leased her horse out to an individual with a contract, and that horse was sold out from under her. She has been fighting this and trying desperately to get her horse back since last year; she has tried to go through all the proper legal channels but to no avail. She has not even been given the location of her horse so she can go visit it.

Thousands of people are avidly following the play-by-play on this case, you can find the thread at:https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=230271&p=1

Here is the link to the story on the Tahlequah Daily Press; they have only posted a few of our comments, claiming that people are using fake names and are repeatedly posting from the same IP address: http://tahlequahdailypress.com/local/x9 … e-drags-on

Here is another Tahlequah news story from March 31, 2010 on the same subject:

So many of us would like to see this woman get her beloved pet back; we are many and the least we are trying to do is get some media outlet to cover the victim's side of the story, which no one seems to want to do. It has been said that this guy has offered to sell her back her horse, which is her own lawful property, and we all want to see justice be done and her get her pet back without further strife. She has all the legal paperwork to prove her ownership.

Please see what you can do; we appreciate any help you can offer on this matter. You can check me out via my info above and see that I am a real person and not a spambot.

Sincerely,

~(my name), also known as Appalled in Illinois>>

I'm not feeling particularly verbose tonight, just mad and trying to get the facts out there. Not up to my tongue-lashing par tonight.
