Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

I have to "giggle" in frustration of course at this "man" remember him saying that he got the horse for his Grandson, and didnt want to hurt him by taking it from him? Well he sure the heck didnt mind "giving" him away last night huh? What kind of example are these low life deadbeats showing these children. (if there are any kids or Grandkids)

In the back of my mind I pretty much feel like all these people should or will be on Americas Most Wanted.(not just for this case)

They are the epitomy of trash to me. UGH

of course, if these ppl have relatives in the paper, no-one should be surprised

Ehh, it may be a bit dry, but it's a whole lot better than blatantly biased. Still needs work. I think the writer is terrible, but at least they're making an effort to report actual facts rather than the op-ed pieces from before.

yes, but if the grandson was ever in the picture in the first place then Max still has to be around. the family is hiding him.

hopefully, this whole thing will infuriate the judge!! hopefully, she is starting to see the actual motive....this IS horse thievery!! Hang 'um high!!!!

Looks like someone needs to phone the press and update them on the recent turn of events.

Judge orders horse returned to woman
By BOB GIBBINS
Press Staff Writer

TAHLEQUAH — A judge has ordered the return of a palomino gelding horse to a woman.

Special District Judge Holli Wells signed an order Wednesday afternoon directing that the horse, Sunny Deelight, be returned to Mikeala Rodriguez. The ownership of the horse has been at issue for several months, and a hearing was held on the matter.

Rodriguez leased the horse last year to Michael Dewayne Ryals, who later sold the horse to his uncle, Leonard Trammel. Trammel testified at a previous court hearing that he gave the horse to his grandson. He also said he had paid veterinarian bills for the horse.

Ryals is awaiting a July 21 hearing on the embezzlement charge, which was filed against him after an investigation by Sheriff’s Investigator Harold Thomas.

Wells’ order states the horse is to be made available to Rodriguez for her to pick up as soon as possible. Ryals is also responsible for any expenses Trammel may have incurred while caring for or lodging the horse.

Ryals is represented by Jim Cosby, a local attorney.

Seems the theif will have to pay the uncle for any expenses he has incured. Ropo gets the horse and owes the uncle nothing!

Anyone heard if they found Max yet?

I searched the Oklahoma State court records (www.oscn.net) and the theif has quite a history in Cherokee County, Oklahoma criminal courts. Could not find the uncle. Guess he hasn't got caught yet. maybe today is the uncle's day!
