Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

Hoping here that no news is good news.

Whelp, here's the update:

1. The uncle has refused to give Max back.

2. The uncle is in contempt of court. The DA is working on getting a warrant signed by the judge.

3. The judges have left for the day and for the long weekend.

4. The judges will not be back, and the DA office will not be open until Tuesday.

5. The sheriff's office will be able to pick him up at any time thanks to the contempt of court charge, but whether or not that actually happens...

6. The deputy that was assigned to my case is on vacation.

7. I cannot have a hope of getting Max back until Tuesday of next week at the earliest, unless someone is able to "find" my horse.

God, Ropo, I just don't know what to say or do. I was so excited to hear he was comming home and then all this crap- hold on a sec! Could the uncle be getting his "heads up" from this site? seriously doubt he's getting info from this site. large www out there and nobody is using his name or anything. but this whole thing is slow torture for me. if it's that bad for me i can't imagine what it's like for ropo. my heart aches!!
