OMG...I absolute hate everything about that sheriff's office...

I called today because the guy doing the report supposedly turned in the report to the DA yesterday. I called and he said that "Yes, I turned in the report to the DA yesterday." I said "Awesome, is there any way that I can get the name of the person you turned the report into?"

He said, "Sure, it was my secretary. She turned it into the DA for me." Then he told me to call the DA because it was out of his hands now. So, I called the DA and the conversation led to her asking someone by her if they knew anything about it.

"Nah, we don't know anything about it...we have no information on it...tell her to call back next week." "Ma'am, we don't know who told you that they turned it in, but we have no information on it. Would you please call back next week?"


NICE. So I called the ranger to let him know that someone over there is AGAIN not doing his job...

I don't know about anyone else, but I just picked up this thread and after reading everything (I was SO hoping to read good news at the end)....I think I am going to need to get some anxiety medication from my doctor.


My husband is a law enforcement officer and the stories he brings home to me such as these are so sad, and so profoundly disturbing.

You just hang in there and I'll keep my fingers AND toes crossed that they get these crazy lunatic SOBs and wring their necks!

Unfortunately, the most I've heard is that the attorney sent out the certified formal demand on Tuesday. It's now a waiting game to see if/when they contact him. If they don't contact him, we have to go to court. If they don't reply to court, we get what we want.

I just wish none of this had ever happened. My belief in mankind is officially dead and dying.
