Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

Redhen has a point. I got 2 horses through abandonment from a woman who was boarding them. There is a time limit on that sort of thing. She was told that she didn't even have to go through court or anything - the horses were hers and she could do what ever she wanted with them. She was going to take them to auction so I bought them and found them good homes instead. Considering you've been trying to do what ever to get him back the abandonment issue might not apply, but you may want to double check...

I think I have a pretty big paper trail. There's the fliers, ads, police reports. But, it is something that I've been thinking about as well as where Max is, if he REALLY is there anymore. It haunts me.

Wondering if he is actually advertising your horse for sale? If he's not advertising him how is he for sale, or is it that he is for sale if YOU want him back? Sorry if you already answered this previously!

Write him a bad check for the horse...LOL
Go there ,write the check..pick the horse up..stop at the bank on the way home and stop payment on the check, so he cant cash it....hehehehe...

A check is a written contract to pay. Giving them a check for the horse would be like agreeing in writing that you owed them money to retrieve the horse. If it bounced, you could be prosecuted. Not a good idea.

Right, not a good idea..it IS like saying that you AGREE that you owe him the money when you sign the check...
