Wow I have just been following this but I can keep my mouth shut about "TJ's Na-Na"'s statement.
I deal with horses and horse people. You can get references up the waazo, people still suck. No matter how hard to try to trust people sometime it just bites you in the ass. So honestly I don't blame her as far as not doing sufficient enough research, she could have done a ton and it wouldn't have mattered anyways, people figure out ways to manipulate, especially people in the horse business.
And she sounds young to me. I think we have all made mistakes in our past, as making mistakes is how you learn and ultimately how everyone has learned to do anything that we do. So I think you are putting her down for no good reason, when realistically Im sure you have made some kind of stupid mistake yourself. Or you could be the perfect all knowing human being
It sounds like this guy is just your grade A regular scumbag - why you are sticking up his side of the deal is beyond me.
And as far as your local law enforcement, I'm not familiar with it so I can't say, but I do know the smaller the town the smaller the circle of people that know someone who knows someone, and get out of things because they know somebody (I live in a town that is 5 sq miles- pretty familiar with this). Our law enforcement in this country I find to be a joke - not saying that there are not
a lot of hard working honest people that put their life on the line on a regular basis who genuinely want to do some good in this world, its the system they have to work for and the people they have to work with who are in it for the "power" and easier possibility to do corruption. Im finding its harder and harder to find
good people in this world. So I can't say for sure what is going on down there- but it sounds like a whole bunch of bullshnit to me!
And come on! You mean to tell me if someone stole your car, and you were fighting for it back and they had it in storage and they asked you to pay the fees you wouldn't tell them to poop in a hat!
I think you would find yourself to be in a different position if something like this happened to you!
