Crazy "dry" thunderstorm last night. Lots of wind, thunder that would roll and roll and roll almost non stop, lightning around me like a party ball, the sky just kept blinking on and off in the distance, but less than 1/2" of rain over several hours.

Going to be a lot of limb/branch clean up, but at least the driveway isn't washed out. Think the neighbors in t he surrounding counties got the worst of it.

In better news? COLD FRONT! Only projected to hit 93 today.

We had storms yesterday evening. Wind, lightening, rain came down in buckets. We just have limbs down but many across the state have snapped power poles and trees on houses. Tons of power outages. I'm thankful we did not loose power.

Got so dark by 7pm I went to check on the chickens. None were outside???

They said to heck with this weather! They were all on the roost in the coop!
Now my older girls always go in early but the pullets are usually night owls.

Night before last, it got really dark by 8:15. I thought the birds would be in bed by 8:30. Nope. Silly chickens waited until 8:45-8:50. You'd think they could tell time. SMH.
