Do you have garlic planted this year? I just finished cutting all the scapes on mine. I will digging a test bulb sometime in the next few days.

It's a little early, but I *need* some fresh garlic!

Did you use up all the scapes?

I do, next to my scallions. Haven't done much gardening of late, we've had inches and inches and inches of water from the sky. If things aren't rotted, and not eaten by the hornworms (all my tomatoes), they are being overgrown by weeds so tall I can't even see the asparagus plantings!

Did you use up all the scapes?

No, not yet. Hubby did say my breath stunk when I ate some of them raw, so I've been cooking them instead.

I'll probably freeze them in a few days. The bags will migrate to the bottom of the freezer. I'll find them in the middle of winter and get a taste of summer.
