Chapter 7
A few weeks has passed by, and it turned out all the humans just wanted to take Bell'e to a school...
"I hope I get picked for a school!" yelled Sandy.
My Daddy had stopped crowing- but it resumed yesterday morning. All the hens said he was molting. But who knows what that means.
While my Daddy was loosing feathers and looking ugly... (no offence daddy!) I had been growing, very very fast.
We all were eating a beetle when Fern suddenly said,
"Guys... I don't feel well. I'm really really hot and my behind wont stop pulsing."
We had a moment of awkward,still silence. Fern rushed back to the coop and started screaming, not in a good way, nor bad way.
We finsished the juicey grasshopper and walked around to the furry animal hutch. As we all looked up, a gigantic white thing stared down at us.
"Ahhh!" We shrieked. The monster was in a cage, but it looked horrifying.


We heard a crow, and knew that meant to head to the coop. Fern told us that she had a strange urge to go to the nesting boxes. She had layed a green egg!
We were all so excited for her, but I was afraid I would soon be laying freaky green eggs!
