Strange bump on baby chick beak

We had a pheasant chick get a bump like that. I kept an eye on it. It grew, sort of pealed and eventually went away. She had it for months.

It’s seems that’s exactly what happened. You can’t even tell it was there now. It just looks apart of her beak and it’s completely cleared out.
