Interesting when the blue black shoulder peahen change of color!
What can it be ...?
Spalding .... the back says NO!
But the beginning of the neck, ... there are no ocellated feathers?

In fact it's a revolution!
It has never been said enough that Black shoulder is THE pattern.
All other patterns ... related to white are 'simply' a color that does not fix!
Black shoulder ... the young are born in the same color ... later the male takes colors and the female remains in this white cream color.And then all these 'discoloration' of the male wings in the different new colors.

Today all BS females in all 19 colors are similar ... only a few different colored feathers in the neck.
Everything has to be done again ...

The totally colorful neck is better.

This is a totally new BS lineage ... a revolution!
Imagine all 19 colors with this new BS pattern types! ... and the corresponding spalding.

There is nothing new about the fact that Spaulding does not breed true and that the level of color changes in that percentage. The 'Red Buff' is an example.
