And this is my 10month old pitbull we rescued from a not so good home that he was being abused not physically but not being fed or cared for. so im glad we got him he thinks he runs things around here though hes like a bear now hes huge

Right now we beleive she is in heat, so we are doing what we can to keep male dogs way from her.The best thing the vet can do here is guess what she is and how old she is. He is more of a livestock vet,then cats and dogs.

be careful! the "so sweet" stray pit mix that we had hanging around here last week, made off with my favorite layer Thursday! She was a sweet dog, got along with everyone, played nice with the dogs/kiddos/cats... likes chicken too

you may want to see if there is a pit rescue group around you...
also ask at the vet for ideas about rehoming her
local feed or pet food store
I am just bouncing ideas here I am sure you thought of these before
she looks sweet...

Well the Missouri Pitbull Rescue place, said she doesnt look enough pitbullish for them to help me and every where else says she looks too much like a pitbull, so I'm stuck in the middle right now.

That is very upseting that no one is willing to take her. Just be careful as to who you give her too. I don't know how dog fighting is there but people will be very tricky by sending their wives and children to get dogs and pretend they are going to a good home only to use them as bait dogs or fight them.
We are lucky to have an awesome Animal Control here. Our A/C Supervisor received Florida A/C Supervisor of the Year.

This is our newest, Chaos, he is a pit mix. We don't know what else he is but loooove the fact that he can't stay out of the pool and he has beautiful eyes, one blue & one green. Any ideas?????

i am 99% that Chaos is a pit/husky mix....most Huskys have two different colour eyes...(but not all)

No worries, I will be very picky about where she gies,but so far no takers on her.
She is a very sweet dog, but I already have 4 dogs and I cant keep her.
I usually dont have this much trouble finding homes for dogs,but this time its very hard.

While it's possible there is some small amount of Lab there (shape of tail is suggestive), her head and ears are clearly NOT the result of a Lab x pitbull first generation cross. There's something else that accounts for those small erect ears, which are consistent with neither pit nor Lab. I'm guessing the non-pit part of her is a Heinz 57.

She appears to be in season.

Chaos is a real cutie. I bet there's some springer spaniel in there. (Ear set, head & muzzle shape, coat texture and color.)

Blue eyes can appear in many dog breeds. My grump (yellow-green eyes) has produced two pups that had a blue eye each -- one in each of her litters; she's a breed that normally has brown eyes, and rarely ever has a blue eye come up. The sires each time were from lines that had never produced a blue eye. She has a full brother who always throws a blue-eyed pup in each litter, no matter who he's bred to.
