Sudden death

I'll look into those. I always wanna give them something to swim in too since that would be something they do in the wild. Can that be a bad thing though

In the Brooder I never provide bath water although I do when outside..
 
I'll check out the bulb but I suggest you get one that glows red that 250 watt clear buld isn't so good for them. Red helps them rest clear disrupts sleep. Be kind of like us trying to sleep with a 250 watt bulb glaring in our eyes.
 
Yes you don't want to get the brooder any wetter than they make it just with their waterers. You can put them into a bath tub just up to the tops of their legs to start with nice warm water let them splash around for 5 mins or so just so long as they don't start chilling then take them out pat dry and right back under heat. also what are your temps in your brooder?

Okay. I hadn't though about that. I'll get one when I buy the feed.

Exactly and I use a 175 watt red Livestock bulb.
